Let us look at building a list. Many marketers will build a list using a capture page to gather contact information and an autoresponder to collect the contacts information. Usually you will have to give away an item that has great value to capture the prospects attention and information.
Next you must be able to build a relationship with the list. This is done using your autoresponder and sending the prospect extremly unique and useful marketing tips or ideas on how to be successful in their business. you can also use newsletters or blog posts once a week to keep in contact with your list. Over time you will build trust.
Now that you have a relationship with your list, you can market to that list and they will trust your advice and judgment and buy products from you. Some will even ask to join your business because in their eyes you also are a leader.
A business plan that is based on chasing your warm market or cold calling can never be successful in list building. Just think, if your company that you are with went out of business because of the economy, you could always start over because you have a list. Attraction marketing is wonderful but you also need a list. The money is still in the list.
