A good Network Marketer will use a variety of marketing techniques. One method that has become popular lately is marketing using social network websites. Social network sites were once thought to be used only by teenagers. Their effectiveness as a network tool has recently been discovered by the business community. They are a great way to get your message out to thousands of people.
To be effective using social networking sites there are a couple of things you need to be aware of. Social networking site like MySpace, Facebook etc were designed for people to meet and share what was going on in their lives. So if you set up one of these sites for the sole purpose of selling your product etc think again. People that come to these site do not come there to buy stuff. Also if you are there only to sell you may have your site closed down.
People come to these sites to meet people, share ideas and find out information about various things that effects their lives. If you are a internet marketer or network marketer the way to use these sites is for marketing only. The way to be effective with this is to market yourself not your product or opportunity. This way people relate you first. After you have developed a relationship with people who come to your site they now know and trust you. Well in most cases anyway.

If you have set up your site correctly, doing certain things a certain way the people you were looking for will now be contacting you. A good supply of free leads and traffic what more can a network markers ask for?
